Field Maintenance Staff Required [Now filled]
Position is now filled.
NYBA is looking for field maintenance staff to prep and maintain the 5 baseball fields at Bond Park. Work has to be done on a daily basis!
Duties include but are not limited to: dragging fields, removing water, lining game fields, properly setting bases, setting up pitching machines, pulling weeds, filling machinery with fuel, repairing mounds and home plates.
- Punctuality, reliability, strong work ethic, and attention to detail are essential.
- Sports field maintenance knowledge and experience are preferred but not required.
- The candidate must be able to lift a twenty-kilo bag of material and be able to work through 30+ degree heat.
- Shifts are in the three-to-eight-hour range depending on the day.
Immediate through the end of September, with the possibility of employment next season as well.
Pay rate is $18/hr
