The Toronto Baseball Association East vs West 13UAAA All-Star game and HR Derby will be held at Bond Park, Diamond 4, Friday, July 26th. The derby begins at 5:15PM followed at 7PM by the 9-inning game.

Thirty players from the following six local baseball organizations will participate in the chance to be part of the TBA All Star Team:

Head Coach for the TBA East Team is NYBA 13UAAA coach Matthew Lethbridge assisted by Mike Zaershnik and Andrew Green. Six players from the NYBA 13UAAA will part of the 15 player east team:

  • #7 Shane Nimni – RF
  • #10 Easton Robinson – CF
  • #11 Drew Kotick – Utility
  • #21 Nigel Peskun – SS/RHP
  • #26 Ayaan Bhagat – RHP/3B
  • #44 Ariz Saleh -RHP/3B

Robinson, Saleh, Nimni and Peskun will also participate in the Home Run Derby.

Glenn Jackson returns as the Head Coach for the West Team assisted by Ro Sachdeva and Ralph Frustaglio.

The home-run derby format consists of is 2 rounds of 8 pitches for all 16 participants off of the Hack Attack Pitching Machine. The top 8 move to the final round.

The game is structured so that all 15 players bat in order of their Head Coach’s line-up. Every effort will be made to ensure all players will have 2-3 innings in the field. A serious emphasis will be placed on using as many pitchers as possible with a maximum of one inning or 30 pitches.

Between the derby and the game, each team will be given time to throw and In and Outs fielding.

The final TBA All Star team of 15 players will be chosen after the game.

They will represent Toronto in the Ontario Baseball Association All Star tournament the weekend of September 13th at the Newmarket Baseball Association.  Only players remaining in the TBA for 14U and available to play that weekend can be selected. Glenn Jackson will be the Head Coach of the newly selected 2025 All Star Team.
