The North York Blues Peewee A team took home the Trevor Barton Memorial Tournament championship in London on Father’s Day weekend (June 14-16, 2019).  North York went through the round robin 3-0 giving up 3 runs.  Hard fought pitching duels saw the Blues win 3-1 and 4-2 in the first 2 games.  A 14-0 win in the 3rd game allowed the team to enjoy the evening back at hotel.

All players played a role in doing the little things to ensure an early close game turned into a victory in the semi-finals over Oakville 12-1.

The finals saw the Blues come back from 2 down in the top of the 7th inning by batting around and putting up 7 runs to put the game away winning 13-9.
