U11 Dedicated Select TBA Championship Weekend August 12-14:

  • Game #1 vs Leaside Team 2, 17-6 WIN:  Liam K., 3 for 3 with two home runs including a grand slam with a total of seven RBIs. Amazing pitching by Pugal K. and Dylan L.  
  • Game #2 vs. Leaside Team 1, 9-10 LOST: Sajen S., a two run homer and fantastic pitching performances by Nicholas K. and Jakoby G. Lost due to untimely defensive errors.
  • Game #3 vs. North York Team 2, 17-2 WIN: Henry T., 3 for 3 with a total of four RBIs. Once again due to the depth of pitching staff, amazing pitching from Lucas L.
  • Game #4 vs. Leaside Team 1, 15-4 WIN:  Due to losing a game already in a double elimination format, this is a must win game.  Many players accepted the challenge and stepped up to the plate.  Sajen S., 3 for 3. Grant G., four RBIs. Dylan L., four RBIs with a grand slam. Amazing save opportunity by Grant G. with 5 Ks in 1.66 innings.  
  • Game #5 vs. Leaside Team 1, 16-5 WIN: Do or die game. Overall amazing team effort captured by an amazing diving catch by Grant G. in right field as well as an amazing save opportunity by Henry T. to ultimately win the TBA Champion Title. 

In Blue Jay’s tradition, the team celebrated their win by giving Coach Donald Feng and ice cold water shower!

Special thank you to the entire team, who played well and put in the hard work to win the 2022 TBAs. Representing Toronto, the team is off to OBAs Provincial Tournament during the Labour Day weekend Sept 2-5 in Hamilton. We wish the team best of luck!

North York Baseball Association has been providing House League and Rep/Select levels of play for boys and girls 6-18. Games are played at Bond Park in North York. NYBA is celebrating 50 years of serving the community!
