2024 Ontario Mega Girls Tournament


Royal York Baseball League is thrilled to host the 2024 House-League Ontario MEGA Girls (OMG) Tournament for All-Star, Development, and Select level – all-girls teams. Join us in Etobicoke for an exciting All-Girls Baseball Tournament taking place from July 26th to 28th.

Teams can register an existing team or register as a league who will then build out an “all-star” team of players from your House League.

Girl Grit | Huge success

Congratulations to all of the participants in Girl Grit,
a free training session for 10U girls held March 31st at Baseball Training Centre in Scarborough.
Great turn-out | Great fun!
A team of volunteers at NYBA are working to build + re-build a Girl`s only baseball program.
Please reach out with any interest you may have or any female players you know as we are looking to build a coaching + instructor staff for the GIRL`S Baseball Program.
Volunteers are welcome and students will build hours for school requirements through NYBA.

NYBA Skills Clinic: 

North York Baseball warmly invites all girls between the ages of 6 to 16 to register for our 2024 House League program. In addition to regular games, NYBA plans to schedule a series of skills clinics scheduled monthly (on weekends) to help girls improve their skills.

RYBA: All Girls Rookie Ball

Royal York Baseball League is offering one of Ontario's ALL GIRLS leagues for players turning ages 8-10 in 2024. Take your daughter’s baseball game to the next level in a supportive and challenging environment!

Season starts the first week of May. There are two options to choose from when you register:

  • SPRING ONLY (Playing May and June and then returning for playoffs in Sept)
  • FULL SUMMER (Playing May, June, July, Aug and then Sept playoffs)

TPBA: Girl's Baseball Academy: 

Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Association recently announced that registration is open for the 2024 Spring Girls Baseball Academy, their first all-girls indoor session of weekly skills and drills classes!!

The 2024 Spring Girls Baseball Academy will feature weekly classes taking place at Oakwood Collegiate (downstairs gym). Each week’s class will focus on specific baseball skills and activities, and will be led by trained female TP Instructors/Field Supervisors.

This is a great way for interested girls to enjoy some “off-season” baseball while enhancing their skills and building increased self-confidence in their baseball abilities. It’s also a great way to prepare for the TP 2024 House League season, which gets rolling in April!

The classes in this inaugural Girls Baseball Academy will be for players from ages 7 to 12 and will take place Sundays 12:15-1:45PM.

Canadian Girl's Baseball Junior Coach Program

⇒ Earn volunteer hours and become a role model.
⇒ Coaches must be between 11-16 years old and available between May 5-June 23 except for Victoria Day Long weekend, May 20
⇒ Times: 8:30AM to 10:15AM at Forest Hill Public School
⇒ Program includes volunteer hours, staff coach mentorship and learning leadership skills.

OWBL - Ontario Women's Baseball League

Ontario Women's Baseball League is the longest continuous all-female baseball league in Canada. AND they are looking to expand in 2022!

Information regarding their 2024 program should be posted soon!

Open to Women, Trans-Women or other non-male identifying people who want to be active and meet new people.

On Deck consists of 8 weeks of baseball fundamentals taught by players in the OWBL competitive division. Each week focuses on a different baseball skills. At the end of 8 weeks there will be exhibition games.

Runs every Wednesday, starting May 4th at Queensway Park (South Diamond), 8 Avon Park Drive Etobicoke.
