NYBA Blues 10UAAA Win Invitational Mini-Tournament

NYBA Blues 10UAAA won the North York Invitational Mini-Tournament, July 8-10th at Bond Park.

Along with the North York Blues, Oakville A’s , Mississauga North Tigers and Milton Mets competed in the 8 game tournament – running Friday to Sunday.

Sunday’s Championship game saw the North York Blues steal victory from the Milton Mets 9-1.

The 9 winning runs from the Blues were scored on 14 hits. The pitching staff combined – struck out 7 Milton batters, while the defense kept Milton to only 1 run earned in the third inning.

North York Baseball Association has been providing House League and Rep/Select levels of play for boys and girls 6-18. Games are played at Bond Park in North York. NYBA is celebrating 50 years of serving the community!
